Digital education: Teachers call for more political support

Today, digital transformation is becoming increasingly important in many areas of life, especially in the education sector. Despite the increasing importance of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), teachers face significant challenges. A survey shows that four out of five teachers perceive too little political support in digital education.

Lack of political support Teachers are faced with the task of using digital technologies and AI critically and effectively in teaching. Nevertheless, they are often denied the necessary support from politics. This leads to difficulties in integrating new technologies into school life, as teachers often have to work with insufficient resources and technical infrastructure.

IT budgets under pressure Another problem is the financial situation of many educational institutions. Despite increased IT budgets in many companies, money for investments in IT modernization and security remains scarce. This also affects schools, which often have to make do with limited funds to improve their technological infrastructure.

## AI in education The use of AI in the education sector offers great potential, but can only be successful if teachers receive the necessary support and training. The new voice feature of ChatGPT, which sounds very human, raises questions about interacting with AI and shows how advanced the technology is already.

## Safety concerns In addition to the challenges in the area of IT infrastructure and financing, there are also security concerns. For example, SolarWinds recently closed a critical vulnerability in its Web Help Desk that allowed attackers to bypass authentication. Such security gaps must be taken particularly seriously in the education sector in order to ensure the protection of sensitive data.

## What this means for users The xynap modules can help teachers use AI more effectively in education. With user-friendly AI tools, the integration of digital technologies in the classroom can be facilitated.
