AI Debate: Apocalypse or Departure? Focus on the future of AI

The discussion about the ethical, societal and technical effects of AI is not only theoretical, but also has practical consequences. In practice, it shows that the integration of AI into companies and everyday situations is more complex than many assume. One example of this is the study by ETH Zurich, which shows that context files such as Agents.md are less helpful in AI coding practice than expected. The study advises against using such files to improve AI models, as they do not provide the expected benefits in practice. Instead, it emphasizes that the development of AI systems must be optimized in other ways, such as better data quality and structured training methods. At the same time, the role of AI in management is also discussed. A new tool called Open Executive is designed to replace CEOs and take on various leadership roles. It is based on open source and AI technology, which raises the question of whether AI will play a central role not only in production but also in leadership in the future. The internal structure of AI has formed independently, enabling a new form of cognitive processing. These developments also affect AI ethics. The question of who is responsible for the decisions of AI systems remains unresolved. At the same time, the move towards a smart future is encouraged, in which AI is seen not only as a tool, but as a partner in the decision-making process. In this context, AI technologies play a crucial role, not only in research, but also in practice. Integrating AI into existing systems and processes is a challenge that requires both technical and ethical aspects. The discussion about AI is therefore not only a technical, but also a social question that has many facets. It affects not only the future of technology, but also the future of work, society and human freedom of choice.
